About Rama Kolli

Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE)

In his role, he serves as a member of the company’s executive team and leads the AI, data/analytics and technology teams. He has been at BCBSNE for over 23 years and was instrumental in many important initiatives, such as digital strategy, data and analytics platforms, cloud infrastructure and core platform modernization. He holds a master’s degree in computer applications from the University of Chennai, India. He currently serves on the Global Insurance Accelerator (GIA) board. He has served on the boards of CoreLink Administrative Solutions, March of Dimes Nebraska, eHealth Council of Nebraska and AIM Institute. He was also the leader of the CIO Forum for all the Blue Cross Blue Shields in the nation.
